Benefit in kind will change, anticipate !

BENEFITS IN KIND WILL OFFICIALLY CHANGE FROM JANUARY 1, 2025*!

Following the latest government announcements on 29 November 2024, the current tax regime for leased company cars, which was due to expire on 31 December 2024, has been extended by two years, but only for electric cars.

• 0.5% for 100% electric vehicles with consumption ≤ 18kWh/100 km

• 0.6% for 100% electric vehicles with consumption > 18kWh/100 km

However the benefit in kind will change from 1 January 2025 to 2% for combustion engine, hybrid and plug-in-hybrid engines.

In anticipation of this change, we would like to inform you that leasing contracts taken out before the 31st of December, 2024** and for which delivery takes place before the 31st of December 2025 will retain the current benefit-in-kind regime.

^{The monthly rent is calculated according to the contractual term and annual mileage agreed, and includes : maintenance, repairs, summer and winter tires (in case of normal use/wear), tires storage, road tax, depreciation and interest, European assistance service, replacement vehicle in case of immobilization of more than 24 hours, Perfecta service (coverage by Arval Luxembourg SA of the risk of damage to the vehicle, total loss or theft) with own risk (lump sum) payable by the lessee and insurance (third-party liability insurance, legal protection insurance and driver's insurance).}

^{Not included in the monthly rent: energy and/or fuel costs and traffic fines. CO2 levels are also indicative and depend on the options chosen and/or data supplied by the manufacturer. At the end of the contract, a mileage breakdown will take place at the last contractually agreed price. In the event of early termination of the Leasing Contract, a lump sum calculated on the basis of the last daily price (as contractually agreed) will be invoiced.}
